Quote mine work like you've priced it a hundred times, because you have.
Underground and confined-space multipliers, travel and accommodation allowances, site trees down to plant and zone, and a revision record the buyer's office can query without a single phone call.
Free plan, no card. Built for plant, mine and factory work.
Sound familiar?
Every mine job is priced from scratch
The conditions repeat (underground, elevated, after-hours), but the pricing is rebuilt each time, and the multipliers get applied from memory.
Allowances get dropped
Travel, standing time and accommodation are a real slice of a mine quote, and they're the first casualties of a rushed sheet.
The buyer's office queries a price
A procurement clerk asks which revision was accepted and why the number moved, and you're digging through email to answer.
Your mine-work catalogue, built once
The conditions repeat, so the pricing should too - set the factors and allowances once.
- Underground & confined-space factors
- Difficulty levels for underground, confined-space and elevated work scale the labour the same way on every quote.
- Travel & accommodation allowances
- On-site allowances sit on the quote as their own lines, never scaled by difficulty, always in the total.
- Site tree to plant and zone
- Mine → plant → zone captured on each quote, so the scope location is never ambiguous.
- A revision record for the buyer
- Every revision is kept and numbered; when the buyer's office asks what changed, you open Rev 1 next to Rev 2.
After the mine accepts
Mine contracts certify, withhold and audit. The job records each of those as a number.

Mining services estimating - common questions
Can I add travel and accommodation as allowances?
Yes. Allowances are their own lines on the quote (travel, standing time, accommodation), included in the total and never scaled by a difficulty multiplier.
Can I show the exact site the work is on?
Yes. Each customer has a site tree (mine, plant, zone), and the quote records the location, so the scope is clear to the buyer.
When the buyer queries a revision, what can I show?
Every revision is retained. Rev 2 is a new document with its own number; Rev 1 stays viewable, so you can show exactly what was priced and accepted, and when.
Can the whole estimating team price consistently?
Yes. Owners and admins set the price book; estimators quote from it but can't quietly change a rate. Any line override to win a job is allowed and flagged, so a sharpened price is a decision, not a leak.
Can several service companies quote one mine project together?
Yes. Each company prices its own scope in its own private account, shares its quote up at the level it chooses, and the main contractor compiles one number for the mine. Milestone invoices cascade back down the chain as drafts, so every company bills its own share.
