Quote piping and steel without rebuilding the sheet.

Fitters, boilermakers and riggers as standard crews, consumables with markup, and difficulty factors for height and confined space, assembled into a quote in minutes and priced to the cent.

Free plan, no card. Built for plant, mine and factory work.

Sound familiar?

Labour is guessed, not built up

Fitter-plus-boilermaker-plus-rigger hours get rounded in someone's head instead of built from a crew and a rate.

Consumables vanish from the number

Gas, rods, discs and gaskets are real cost - and the easiest lines to forget when the quote is due by five.

Shutdown quotes go out late

The plant wants a number today; rebuilding a full mechanical scope in a spreadsheet means you send it tomorrow, second.

Your mechanical catalogue, built once

Rates, crews and consumables in one place, so a shutdown scope is minutes, not a morning.

The Products page of a Quotier catalogue: each product's category, cost and sell price per unit, crew and options
The products catalogue: every product's category, cost and sell price per unit, and the options and variants it comes in - set once, picked on every quote.
Crews by discipline
Fitter, boilermaker, rigger, welder: each with an hourly rate; a standard action pulls the right crew onto the line.
Consumables with markup
Rods, discs, gas and gaskets carry cost and markup, so they're in the number every time, not remembered sometimes.
Height & confined-space factors
Working-at-height and confined-space multipliers scale the labour on the lines that need them.
Fabrication + install packs
A pipe-spool or a support-steel pack drops the standard products onto a line in one click.

After the shutdown scope is won

A shutdown is priced once and paid over months; the job keeps both halves straight.

INV-0359

Retention on the shutdown

Progress claims bill net of retention, the release invoice comes when it falls due, and the job panel remembers the defects period.

Expenses

Consumables as actual cost

Gas, rods and discs logged as expenses with the supplier's invoice attached, read against the consumables you priced.

Site diary

Standing time to a variation

Plant not isolated? The diary records the hours lost; the variation prices them, and accepting it raises what you can bill.

Mechanical estimating - common questions

Can I build labour from a crew rather than a single rate?

Yes. A standard action carries its standard crew, several labour types at once, so adding the action seeds all the labour lines at their hourly rates. You adjust hours per line.

Can I enter labour in minutes for short lines?

Yes. Each labour line takes hours or minutes; the rate stays per hour and Quotier converts, so a 40-minute line is priced correctly with no manual maths.

How fast can I get a shutdown quote out?

From an existing catalogue you assemble lines from your standard actions and send a branded PDF the same day. From sign-up to your first quote is usually an afternoon.

Is there a record of every revision?

Yes. Sending freezes the prices; revising creates a new numbered version and keeps the previous one viewable, with who built, sent and accepted each - and when.

The main contractor wants our number - do we have to send our sheet?

No. On a shared Quotier job you price the mechanical scope in your own account and share only what you choose up the chain: the total alone, the line titles, or the full breakdown. The main contractor imports it as a line - no retyping, and no sight of your rates unless you granted it.
