Price loops, calibration and terminations from one book.
Instrument cable by the metre, terminations and loop checks as standard actions with their crews, and confined-space and elevated factors - so a C&I scope is consistent whoever builds it.
Free plan, no card. Built for plant, mine and factory work.
Sound familiar?
Loop and termination counts get fuzzy
The labour to terminate, glue-and-gland and loop-check dozens of instruments is estimated in bulk instead of built up.
Specialist rates vary by estimator
Instrument-tech time is priced differently across the team, so the same scope lands at different numbers.
Committee buyers query the detail
Plant C&I buyers want the make-up of the number, and a spreadsheet total doesn't answer them.
Your C&I catalogue, built once
Instrument cable, terminations and loop work, priced consistently across the team.
- Instrument cable per metre
- Multicore and single-pair cable carry cost and markup, priced per metre and multiplied by the run on each line.
- Terminations & loop checks as actions
- Terminate, gland, loop-check saved as standard actions with their instrument-tech crews: the labour lines seed themselves.
- Confined-space & elevated factors
- Difficulty levels for confined-space and elevated work scale the labour consistently across the scope.
- A number the buyer can read
- A branded PDF lays out lines, labour and products to the cent - the make-up a plant buyer expects to see.
After the loop list is priced
C&I work is checked instrument by instrument; the record can be too.

Instrumentation estimating - common questions
Can I price instrument cable per metre?
Yes. Instrument cable is a product with cost, purchase length and markup; the per-metre selling price is calculated and applied by the run on each line.
Can estimators be stopped from changing specialist rates?
Yes. Only owners and admins set the price book. Estimators quote from it; any line override to sharpen a price is allowed and visibly flagged, so specialist rates stay consistent.
Does the client accept the quote in the tool?
No. They open a branded PDF from a link and you see when they first open it; you record acceptance against the client's order number. The number's make-up is on the PDF for their review.
