Sound familiar?
Steel priced at cost by accident
A plate line goes in at the merchant price with no markup, and the job's margin walks out on the biggest cost on the sheet.
Consumables and shop time under-counted
Gas, wire, discs and grinding hours are real money, and they're the lines that get rounded down.
No single list to buy against
Products for a job are scattered across the quote, and someone re-keys them into a shopping list by hand.
Your fabrication catalogue, built once
Product by weight, shop processes and consumables, priced with markup, every time.
- Plate & section by weight
- Products carry cost, purchase quantity and markup, so a per-kilogram selling price is calculated and applied on every line.
- Cut, weld, grind as actions
- Shop processes saved as standard actions with their crews - boilermaker, welder, grinder - seed the labour automatically.
- Consumables that stay in the number
- Gas, wire and discs carry markup and sit on the line, so they're never quietly dropped.
- One consolidated buy-list
- The accepted job rolls every product into one buy-list (quantities and units) for your steel and consumables run.
After the steel is priced
The steel run, the shop hours and the machines - all on the job's account.
The steel run as a purchase order
Shop time as cost

Fabrication estimating - common questions
Can I mark up steel per kilogram?
Yes. A product's selling price is its cost divided by purchase quantity plus your markup; put plate or section in by weight and the markup is applied on every line automatically.
Does the products buy-list replace my supplier order?
No. It's an internal consolidated buy-list of every product on the job (quantities and units) to buy against. It isn't a purchase order and isn't sent to a supplier for you.
Can I reuse a standard fabrication scope?
Yes. Save cut/weld/grind as standard actions with their crews and product packs; adding them to a line seeds the labour and drops the standard products in one click.
